Clocking in as one of our favorites, tzatziki sauce is a delectable yogurt dip that adds a special kind of zing to your food. The sauce originated in the Mediterranean, and is made of strained yogurt dip from sheep or goat’s milk. It has a tempting, white consistency that invites the addition of equally delicious tidbits of flavor; garlic and cucumber bits can be added to further bring out the sauce’s creamy robustness.

Tzatziki is the perfect accompaniment to a number of dishes, and can be used as a dip, a salad dressing, or side dish. It pairs up extremely well with vegetables and meat (it was practically made for kebabs!), toasted pita bread or chips, and even curry.
